So I started my Vanguard Gallery. It took me a little while to get into during beta but the game is awesome. Last night there was an end of beta event and I got to fly a griffon again, I got my own boat, and they opened a bunch of zones that were previously closed.

those are beautiful pictures. Vanguard still sucks though, at least to those of us in #btpguild bothering to play it.

Oh what don't you like about it?

I don't consider it a 3rd generation mmo like they were hoping for but I still like it.

Btw, have you heard of Hero's Journey?

it's not optimized worth crap, and all the features and really awesomely exciting cool stuff they had in October 2004 when i went out there are totally gone and replaced by cookie cutter WoW-like features.
basically, it's just not fun for me, like the pre-alpha version was.

i saw 2 screenshots from Hero's Journey. my computer would vanish in a puff of smoke if i even pre-ordered that. i'm using an athlon overclocked to 1.9GHz, 1.5GB pc166 ram, and a 512MB geforce 6800xt modded to 6800 ultra specs. i'm basically 4 cpu generations behind (single core 32-bit), a ram generation behind (or like 8 generations behind depending on which yardstick you measure by), and 2 video card generations behind.

meh. doesn't matter anyway, i have no time for games, what with the organic chemistry, lol.
