Gwendal was glad to see that his next match would be against a sane opponent.  Yozak had beaten the other Gisela with some impressive swordsplay so Gwendal was looking forward to matching his strengths against the man.

"We should pit our swordsmanship against one another."

Checking the tournament sheet, Wolfram was surprised to see his next competition would be against Yuuri. He shook his head then set his mind to it. He was determined to prove himself this time - Maou or no Maou.

He strode toward the appointed place to wait for his fiance.

Gwendal approached the ring stoically.  It was rather muddy from the previous battle.

"Lady Ulrike," he greeted with a polite bow of his head.  "Are you ready for our competition?"

Twirling the stick from her rousing game of noughts and crosses with her father, Gisela paced in a slow circle as she waited for Wolfram to join her. She didn't expect to have to "fight" more than once in this tournament, so she wasn't sure what to expect now.

Maybe he would like to play punch-you-punch-me?

Gunter had won the battle with his double by a nose, and he was very happy that he'd managed to hide how much it had cost him to do do. He chewed some dried fruit to take away the nasty taste in his mouth and waited for his daughter. 

Shouri had waited at his appointed place for his first challenge -  part of him eager to test the refining of his maryoku since working on it with Julia - but the other man never showed up. Gisela sat on the ground,  waiting for this Yosak guy to show up.  It had been a while since she used a sword, so she was feeling pretty excited. That is if he wasn't going to suggest a pillow fight or a braiding contest.
