Long trip was long.
I got on the train at 205th St. at 10:11. I didn't get down to Coney Island until about 5:30. The D train is a NIGHTMARE. If I do this again, like I was planning for the A/C trains, I'm going to have to leave by 8 AM, not wake up then. I don't know when I plan to do the A/C but probably not this week. Not too much to say tonight because I'm feeling lethargic and bleh. Didn't get a lot of sleep last night and still dragged my ass onto the train this morning (albeit later than I would have liked). I couldn't believe it took me six hours to get down from one end to the other, because it seemed like no time was passing at all (a minute here, a minute there, then 360 of them have passed somehow). So the Mets lost the World Series. That sucks.
I went downtown to drop off the UNICEF donation today. We didn't get any last-minute contributions so we came up just short of $1000. But we still collected too much! If we'd had just $1.99 less, our 6-year total would have been $6,666.66. :3c -
