I've just come to realize that after all the growing we've achieved, we still just revert to what we know pacifies our pain. I know now that it's not just me that does, and I'm not sure if that's supposed to be comforting or not

I read this earlier, and meant to comment, but I had to get to class <3.
I think its quite beautiful how you always seem to acknowlege every sense of a perspective which may exist for both parties. To answer your question, I would like to say it isn't selfish, but deep down I know that is far from the truth, if it has the possiblity of impacting those around you in a negative way..which it does the majority of the time, mo'fuggin hoes <3
Its sad to think that an individual choosing to go into the 'darkness', would in turn cause their loved ones to follow.
But in a way, I don't think that it means you are necessarily in the darkness, simply because you choose to express yourself a little bit differently then what is accepted within the standards of our society today. I'm not saying it good either. I just don't feel like I'm in darkness..Just a little lost..Like everyday of my mo'fuggin life, you know? =0)

WHen words cannot convey your heart, written or spoken. When a single picture or melody cannot...We have one artistic way to speak.
I don't know why I've just let myself pick it up again. That burning drive is just inside me. And when I'm lost, it's there. And I really am lost a lot. I can't seem to find assemblance and control in my life and future.
I do think scarification is beautiful.
