After five months of research the council have decided what caused the flooding on my street in September. They even sent me a letter.

Their verdict? It rained too much! :D

So this evening a group of 4 20ish year olds has graffitied all along the side of the house and on the garage door at the front.

This is about the 3 time in as many months this has been a problem, although it's not normally this bad.

So it's been a fairly productive day in my world, job application went in, paper draft went in, worst of the Christmas shopping done and even got to the seminar. Fortunately however, tomorrow is mostly meetings, will not be productive, and the apocalypse is therefore not on its way *nods*

So today I waved what constitutes about half the thesis in terms of pages but rather more than that in terms of the percentage content at my supervisor. He says I'll have it back by Thursday, I am not personally convinced by his statement. Back from Vienna, results - thumping headache, stupidly high fever & may have to nail the boss to the next wall I see him standing against. Oh, but not before Air France have been the first up against it; couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery vineyard.

So in strange turns of events over the past few days we have the vietnamese weasel coffee. This is something that, while I had heard about I'd never actually seen. So, I'm quietly wondering as I stare at the stack of papers I'm trying to avoid reading, when I last updated. So yesterday evening I was in Hyde Park watching a concert Radio 2 had put on to mark Andrew Lloyd Webber's 60th this year. It was good, if somewhat chilly and they had quite a lineup.
