I started my new uni course on Monday! For those who don't know, I was doing a Bachelor of Nursing last year, but it just wasn't for me, so I changed into a Bachelor of Arts. Basically, I went from a guaranteed job on completion of my nursing course to, well... a Bachelor of Arts. Great career move on my part

Yeah for Ashes to Ashes, I hope he's right. I wasn't expecting it to start until April, so it will be exciting if it is on earlier, less time to wait!

Yeah, the idea of it starting in March it really surprised me, but in an awesome way. I really hope he's right, because we'll all be so disappointed if we've all got excited for nothing!

I admire that you had enough resolve to go change your speciality instead of finishing it first, I'm a Spanish major (sort of) right now but I've lost my interest and would very much like to be English instead but I can't give up my current one because I'm a third year(of 5), I don't want to waste that time I spend here already *sigh* Thus I need to get my crap back together and catch up on Spanish as I seem to have forgotten so much WHILE STILL STUDYING IT, only I'm capable of that, obviously XD
5 day weekend FTW!!!
Oh,my *is jealous* I only have two free days and I have to attend an additional German class on Tuesdays so that kind of leaves only Sundays for me *sigh*
I'd love to learn Russian, because I think it sounds awesome and just a little bit evil.
Да ну? Кто бы мог подумать :P

Thankfully for me I figured out pretty early on that Nursing just wasn't going to work out for me. To be honest, I felt a bit silly for giving it up so early and was tempted to continue in case I ended up liking it eventually, but I'm really glad I didn't. I'm sorry to hear that yours isn't working out- it's a terrible feeling.
I seem to have forgotten so much WHILE STILL STUDYING IT, only I'm capable of that, obviously XDYOU ARE NOT ALONE! This happened to me with statistics in my Psych course- halfway through, I realised I couldn't remember how to do everything and had to relearn it all ( ... )

Well, I wouldn't say it's not working out because I'm pretty sure I was crafted for linguistics and foreign languages and translation, I would just like to be able to shift the focus from Spanish to English, that's all. Because so far my first language professionally will be Spanish and English would only be the second, while I'd like much more to work with it.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
Lol, that's a good feeling ;D
I can't imagine only having one day off!
Well, I've always had only one day off at school, we study on Saturdays for the most part, and in the 11th grade I also had an additional course on Sunday mornings so I had no days off for a year, that was terrible, I'm so glad I finished high school XD
How much Russian can you speak? All of it? Mwahahahaha *ehem* Sorry, I see you haven't ( ... )
