Now, you read around, add people to your friends list, and post replies in people's journals. Or just write what's going on in your day on your own LJ and wait for people to start a discussion there.
i commented to you earlier and it hid it until I verified my email. So I verified my email and can't find where it hid my entry. No big deal, but if you know where to find things like that. i'v been snooping around.
ta for now, mum
oh, and when i'm in new York next month let's make pictures i can post tht show more than the bony framework.
I think I have that one from you at "Heaven" in Greece. Shall I make you an icon?
As far as comments...since only friends can post to my LJ...that comment might be lost to the winds. Alas. Repost it - or wait till later today when I make a new post!
yes! i like that picture almost as much as the dancing with a bear one.
hey, i even did a post to one of the two blues violin interests posted.... check out the site. I like how it's formatted, the color and etc. Can i (you) do something like that? i cannot read your black page with the mornign sun beaming from Mauna Kea on the sceen. I am in the land of sunshine and minimal window treatments.
okay, I'll post an entry before I run away with the day.
Thank you. So far so good. i saw some photos from your New York stomp and hope i will get to meet all at the big fall event. I'm coming a long way and expect a fine time!

mahala,
So, some advice please. if a lj reply is a short affirmative note, does it require a response. Face to face a smile or head nod (or tail wag as with my beach dog friend) suffices as "yes, we are sharing space and great!" and all those unspoken things?
looking forward to all this. Will anyone but Michaela give me grief if I transpose and misspell? Will i care?

I wouldn't worry about required responses - just respond as you want to! Personally, I might very well not bother responding to a post like my welcome one. If you felt you wanted to, you could respond with something like ::wags tail:: or ::inclines head:: or some such. Or even just Thanks. But only if you want to.
And while I am a grammar queen, I will withhold the grief. We're just glad to have you here! Any mom of Michaela's is a mom of mine.
