My works will be temporarily locked in light of Eat Your Kimchi's recent tweet. I will be returning soon once this issue has passed; if you are a new reader or came here from a recommendation and would still like to read, please PM me.

But EYK tweeted that they wouldn't use the authors fic without permission so unless they don't make true to there promise authors have nothing to worry about

This is true but the fact remains that if someone links/tweets the fanfic, it will be available for all to see. And because EYK seems to cater to a wide group of kpop enthusiasts, including newcomers, some people who do not understand fanfiction and its basis may take it the wrong way. And that in itself could become a catalyst for a number of negative things.

Furthermore- yes, EYK won't use a fic without permission, but that doesn't mean others won't. And with a larger audience with more exposure, controlling outcomes of people outside the fanfiction fandom will be more difficult. The worry here is that this passion/hobby for writing these authors have may very well be taken away.
