it's so poignant and so real, i was trying to imagine the setting of the story.. and it made me think of all the sad chinese period dramas where the hero dies etc T^T ugh i wish it didn't have to start out at the sad bit already *forlonly fills in happy bits of beginnings*

aww ;;; I... think I need to start writing happy things again XD I seem to have gotten stuck in a sad loop!
but it's okay, if it were really a Chinese drama, this would totally be the first three episodes or so, and then we'd have 50billion more episodes of "5 years later" where it turns out that Kitayama was still alive, just living with a commoner who'd saved his life and Fujigaya was getting married and they bump into each other and all sorts of ridiculous dramatic things happen XD! /tl;dr
