Try downloading Lose It and Cardio Trainer apps to your phone. With Lose It you fill it out and set a weight loss goal and how much you want to lose a week to reach your goal and it will give you a daily calorie limit and you keep track of the food you so you don't go over your limit. Yeah tracking your food is a bitch and sometimes you can forget about it; but it's helping me out a bit (I've only missed 3-4 days and I'm almost at the two month mark). It also keeps track of your weight loss. Cardio trainer can serve as a pedometer while you're out and about and at school, it also counts calories burned while your driving and tells you how many calories you've burned with each different activity you do. Also youtube is full of great workout programs you can do. I've read that swimming laps is good for weight loss ( ... )

Also don't let your family control your diet. It's your diet and should be in control of it and your family should be supportive and helpful to you. If you're going to eat rice then eat brown or wild rice or another healthy grain.

Consume small amounts of food on a frequent basis so you don't eat a lot during main meals. They have to be um, healthy? I suppose. I prefer consuming fish right now if I ever get the chance. Or consume food you're not really fond of (but not that disgusting to your palate).

It did help me a few years ago to get a list of ...kpop dance moves (I did Nobody back then) and practice the whole routine until I mastered the thing. Not sure if it'll apply to you, so please take this with a grain of salt.
