(Victim's friend)
2010.09.30 Th 20:18

The worst event of my life has happened
The upperclassman from middle school who used to call me and threaten me to "Get 100,00won"*
The upperclassman that used to call my friends out when he got bored and beat them up
And called my friend out to the "Hogwarts" playground at Raemian and raped her
That oppa debuted in a group called "Co-ed"
I can't stop crying I feel sick This son of a bitch....

*100,000 won is about $90 USD.

Comment: fucking expose (him/it/you)* (2010.09.30 23:53)
*not a literal translation. "까" is netizen speak for "kick someone" or "reveal something"

(In regards to the friend's post, before the victim spoke out)
Most likely the rapist is Yulhyul Kangho (Real Name: Park Youngsoo). I was in his class in our 2nd year of middle school, and pornography aside he drank and smoke and when he got bored, he'd use the kids as sandbags to beat up, and on top of that if an underclassman couldn't gather 100,000won*, he'd beat him within an inch of his life in the bathrooms. And in our 2nd year, in the dorms we watched a movie called "Inshin Maemae"* and he alone got turned on and jerked off and couldn't handle the embarrassment so he took a "towel" that was infamous in our school and rustled some bedsheets.* Within Seoil Middle school's classes of 91, 92, 93, 94, there wasn't anyone that didn't know him, and even in the Kangnam area, there wasn't anyone that didn't know him. If there was a rapist, it was definitely that kid. Not just rape, but probably murder too.

*100,000 won is about $90 USD.
*Inshin MaeMae is a term for treating people like items to be bought and sold, basically human trafficking/slavery.
*The implication is that he took the girl with a reputation in the school (I can't be sure if it's the school's 'slut' or just a girl that's easily coerced into sex), and slept with her.

- This is one of the posts that was signed, which is why it's floating around the blogosphere.
- Okay, edit. Clarifying as the OP, the guy isn't saying Kangho murdered anyone. It's a comment on Kangho's personality. Sorry for the confusion.

(The post about "Even if he raped someone, it was an act of immaturity.")
Hello. I'm ChoisungminBaragi.

It seems that there's a rumor going around the internet that Yulhyul Kangho-oppa is a rapist
The victim says that it's true but as Co-ed fans, shouldn't we protect him?
Instead of getting caught up in a silly rumor like that, I hope that as fans, we'll support Co-ed
Is there any proof that Kangho-oppa raped anyone? If you say that sort of thing without any proof, Co-ed fans will be hurt
Kangho-oppa is a new face, so his hardworking image might look bad but
Just because it's bad doesn't mean it's okay to spread hurtful rumors like that
Even here, there are probably some people who believe it but
Please demand some proof that Kangho-oppa is a rapist
It's really bad for yourself if you say such things without any proof

Even if Kangho-oppa really did rape someone
Just think of it as a young boy's immature curiosity and
Keep supporting him and remind him that we're here for him

This is just a plea from me.

Notes:
To clear up the Yooseong picture - it was put up by a different netizen with the comment being "이렇게 잘 생긴 사람한테라면 강간당해도 좋은거 아닌가" (If it's from someone this attractive, isn't rape a good thing?) The picture's since been taken down after netizens heard about it and harassed her.
Neither the victim nor the other victim's friend said it was Yooseong.

In Korea, the search word "rape" is a 19+ term -- meaning the majority of netizens can't actually search for the incident.

Yes, Korean netizens also think "rape-dol" is a laughable term.

Hopefully, this'll clear up some misunderstandings.

Edit:
There's some confusion about how Korean blogs and Cyworld works, so let me lay it out for you --
Korean blogs require you to verify your identity with your Korean Social, ######-######, and in most cases, with a scan of your passport as well. This means you can only have one account per site at any given time. The same goes for Cyworld too -- each person can have one at any given time.

To post on cafes, you have to register, which means going through more validation, and then when you comment, your IP address is logged by your name. (See the second screencap above for an example) This is mandatory on almost all sites, and without either the IP validation or your username (which bloggers can trace back to your IP anyway), your comment is likely to be deleted by the blogger than posted, or the manager of the cafe.

tl;dr: You can't have the same person posting from two different accounts to the same site.

There's still no official statement from his company as of yet. Still looking...

Edit: And because I felt like it needed additional explanation - the word "rape" in Korea, my rant about the subject.
