If your mother bestowed a sword upon you, what would it be?

I'm thinking mine would give me a mechanical pencil with a sturdy eraser, she's an accountant.

Hmm... I think the sword would be much like a Swiss Army knife, with all sorts of useful pieces for whatever I wanted to do, like knitting or smithing or writing. And a compartment with contraceptives.
