i hear that, man. i saw the game at this dude's apartment in new orleans, and we were by that time treating zidane with a godlike, almost samuel l jacksonesque reverence. So when that moment came, we were ecstatic.

I'm such a big dork that when I first read that I thought you meant the main character in Final Fantasy IX. It wasn't until I saw a clip on YouTube (of a bunch of people headbutting each other) that this made sense to me.

Even though I'm totally an Italy fan, what Zidane did was absolutely perfect. Screw all the announcers saying what a travesty it was that he went out like that, he went out like a gangsta.

when i see the clip a really hardcore rap song plays in my head. by that guy with the dogs. i totally forget his name but i used to love him, only because he had these huge mean scary dogs. i was in like 9th grade, too. his name started with a D, i think. god dammit, it's really important that i think of who it is.
