The Professor crossed her arms as she slipped behind Illiad. Well. Wasn't that something else.

"You know," she whispered, leaning down to bring her lips close to the poor things ear, "..that's no way to get the girls, love."

Of course she knew who Lou was, and had figured by then that yes, they were somehow related. And she definately knew young Illiad, due to her participation in The Order, and Sunday teas during the summer with Molly. But she honestly couldn't pass up the opportunity to bother a poor, sulking, heartbroken student.

"I'd hardly like that... that...complete... that utter......terrible... that ####!" Illiad said in a harsh whisper to his professor, still babying his cheek with a cupped hand and pursing his lips dramatically. He stayed facing the opposite way of Genies face, staring sullen and icely at the spot where his cousin had turned so accurately on her heels, as if his stare would start a fire that would burn all the way to where she was currently marching across the grounds.

"Can you believe she'd.... she'd... professor! Can you...?!" he was trembling now. Dependent and self-centered as he was, he sulked a few moments in his own self-pity, before the real tears began welling up in the corners of his eyes.

Kaia was tearing down the hall, almost late for Study Hall, again. Running past the Great Hall, she almost slammed into a girl leaving the Great Hall, "Oh goodness, I am so sorry, I just..." Kaia stopped, seeing the girl in tears. Oh dear, she thought to herself. "Are you ok?" she asked, and as the words flew out of her mouth, she wondered if finally having a friend had affected her and made her to want to talk to people.

"Oh! Lovely, my fault!" Lou said, wiping her face on her sleeve and looking with red, scratchy eyes at the little Ravenclaw. "Sorry, sorry," she sniffed heartily, practically collapsing to her knees to help the girl pick up her fallen books and parchment. Normally, in this sort of fit of rage, she would not be above kicking little children out of her storming way.

He'd made her feel stupid, like she was lowly and worth nothing because of her intrusion. She'd just been caring for him! What was so wrong with cousinly compassion?! Thats what she wanted to know!

"Here you are," she sniffed, handing the girl her things. See. She wasn't mean-spirited.

"Thank you, but, umm," Kaia looked at her closely. "Are you okay? YOu seem upset." She took her things back from the girl, watching her over her glasses, which were low on her nose again.

Lou sniffed loudly. "Me? Oh." she couldn't keep the sad-puppy look out of her stoney eyes. "I'm okay. I think. Its just... that sulking prod over there," she nodded through the doorway at Illiad who was still glaring at the space of the floor.

"Ho, boy, do I hate his sulking, idiotic... complete... waste of air!" she put a hand to her neck where he had grabbed her and pursed her lips in an identical grimace to his, their sulks so alike it was frightening.

"Are you going to class?" she asked the girl quite suddenly.
