for a second I hoped the car would crash and we could die in pain

but as i tasted my salty tears I knew it wouldn't change a thing.

your beauty like a chainsaw, carving designs into my heart

and you're the only one I know who can turn pain into an art.

whenever I read poems, i wish i could go and ask the poet what it means because people assume it means one thing but it could very likely mean something very different. unfortunately, most of the poets i read from are dead. so, tori, what does this poem mean to you?

most of my poems mean more than i can explain in real words...

thats why they are in that form, you know?

but it's about the pain and emptyness inside.
and the fear. and the beauty in the way it never goes away, the art in the way it repeats itself like a pattern.

or something.
