OOC: Details about Cantabile

Of course, much of this is up to characters in question (I especially would like to hear from Van's player), so I'm focusing more on Cantabile's own opinions of people based on canon events up to the beginning of the game that she would know about.

OOC: I'm SOOO excited to see someone playing Cantabile! Needs more love. <3 I may do some fan art of her as the story progresses and I get a better picture of her in my mind.

Everything you described here pretty much fits in with what I believe. Cantabile undoubtedly has some sort of debt she owes Van, which is precisely why she can't strike against him. As was mentioned somewhere before, I think the best bet would be that he rescued both her and her father from Hod before it was destroyed. Perhaps her father was hurt and she approached Van with a plee for assistance. Whatever the reason, she paid some kind of hefty price for his help. It would be the only explanation regarding how he keeps her under wing.

I think Van respects her in some ways. She's obviously EXTREMELY talented. He most likely wants to see how far her power grows until she reaches her full potential. He might even already have a use for her in mind

OOC: Glad to see you are happy even if she hates Van with such a passion.

And yes, she must owe Van something, or he has some hold on her. Her father is the most likely one, since Van has been keeping Guy's existence a secret from her, since Guy would be effective to use against her, especially if Van remembered that she always really liked Guy when they were younger (and I estimate she's closer to Guy's age than Van's)

I do think that she and Van got along really well before she found out about the whole replica world thing. My guess is that Van trusted her before that and actually did tell her, thinking that she would agree with him, and surprised to find that she did not.

Good to see you again. I don't have much opportunity to speak with the God Generals, but I want to thank you for your good work.

ooc: Oh yes, battles should be quite interesting indeed. Though hard to say if it will be her vs. the party or her vs. the God-Generals. It all depends on how things fall and how tightly Van pulls her towards him. The poor woman still loves Van even though she professes hate towards him.

I do have a feeling she will fight Legretta at least at some point. Too much hate and jealousy between them for it not to happen eventually.
