My opinion of Father has, surprisingly, decreased. Had he a bit of sense he would have carried out his plans in spite of the, ah, percieved "defect."

Niwa-san is amusing. Too bad Father couldn't see that a bit of... familial loyalty might have done the Kaiba clan some good. I may have actually had a bit of regret for driving him to take his own life....

As it is I can't help but think how much better I am than him.

What an... interesting development.

It appears to me, from reading this journal, that I may have stumbled across the foolish child Father nearly adopted to be my replacement.
