There was pizza in a conference room again this week -- but, in deference to Jono, Henry had also put on a Clash CD a little more loudly than was conventional for a meeting, which he hoped would make up for his fondness for feeding people. Pizza? Yeah, Anemone and Gulliver weren't going to pass this up, and it wasn't like they had any classes they needed to be at instead.

It was Gabrielle's opinion that whether a few extra days' wait for a book might be fatal to someone entirely depended on the book and the circumstances, but she kept that to herself and took a slice of pizza instead, picking halfheartedly at the toppings.

The music was loud, but at least it was a more pleasant sort of loud than, say, war parties rampaging through a defenseless village. It was sad how used she was to that kind of din.
