It really does. But all freshwater. The Great Lakes really are little inland seas and they can get pretty ferocious. I need to find some video I have of Lake Erie in the winter where there's some tremendous wave action (it's the shallowest of the lakes and like a big soup bowl that when tipped starts the soup sloshing).

I live too far from water these days and I want to get back near it.
