Of course! I much prefer the soft boiled to the hard boiled, in general.

Runny yolks generally freak me out so I will continue to eat all my eggs hard boiled, or scrambled thankyouverymuch.

I love the soft boiled eggs in ramen that I learned about in Japan. In one of the fukuburo Sara and I bought there was a microwave egg steamer. I haven't had the nerve to try it yet, but apparently there are different times for different doneness.
