We went to Target yesterday and I saw a wonderful thing - a display of Dr Bronner's soaps!  I'm so excited because I usually have to go to a health store to buy it.  It's so cool that Target is carrying it now (although I didn't see my favorite soap - Sal Suds).  They are also going to carry Jason body wash, shampoo and conditioner and some other ( Read more... )

I stared a new bookclub at work. It's called Classics with Kelly and I'm choosing books from the Barnes and Noble Classics Library, as they have a good selection and are cheap! Yesterday I was working in the romance novel section of the store.  I decided that if I ever wanted to write a romance novel, I needed either a Highlander, a Pirate or a Vampire.  Maybe I'll write about a Vampire Pirate who sails the Scottish coast!

We finally got our piano moved into the house last week and I love having it again.  I haven't played in several years and now that it's in our living room, I want to dedicate a few hours a week at practicing.  My lofty goal is to be able to preform flawlessly Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin and Sonate Pathetique by Beethoven by the end of the ( Read more... )

Chuck and I agreed that we will go to NC to visit my friends but that the primary point of the trip is to do something else besides hanging out with them.  (His eyes lit up when I mentioned Annapolis!)  Now we just have to decide when we're going, how long we'll be gone for, etc.  Both of us are now thinking of a place to visit that is 'on the way ( Read more... )
