In the past week and a half I have:

-been to a cat circus
-seen a band made up of robots
-had a surprise birthday party thrown for me
-been to a recording studio
-discovered that I started a tradition

On Monday I discovered that there was a mouse living under our dishwasher, which I named Gargamel. My cat had been sitting in the kitchen all day Sunday, but it didn't dawn on me that it was looking at a mouse until I heard a squeak and saw a tiny gray head poke out from beneath the dishwasher. Last week Friday the Squirrel Nut Zippers performed a free show downtown as headliners for the Iowa Arts Festival. And no, it's not 1999 again. 1. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Hilarious. I have a crush on Charlie Day.
2. Getting my taxes done; fat rebate checks (even if it's really my money to begin with).
3. Reading. I go through spurts, and I'm currently on a reading kick again. The goal is to read a book a week for an entire year.
