I really enjoyed the flip-flops in dominance, the bondage and the witty repartee, but duuuuude!! There was a feather right. There! Work it grrl, use that feather! Give us more tickling and teasing and naughty touching! We want TiedUpAndBeingTickled!John, yes we do!
John's monologue sounded just like it was coming out of the man's mouth. Kind of a brassy, arrogant git, but then who isn't? *ruffles John's hair*
I love the idea of it all being a game between Lucifer (this is before he takes up nightclub owner/manager thingy, I'm assuming?) and the mysterious Desire. I smell at least one sequel *gives up the puppy eyes*, because surely Desire will win out next time ...
Hopefully constructive suggestions for your consideration: Some kind of divider line (---) or (***) between the end of John's portion and the other side of the mirror scene, to break it up just a bit. And it might throw a nice feeling of tension over the John/Death encounter if there was a pre-logue (related to pro-logues, but shorter and more ambiguous ... LOL I just
