A month from today, I will be getting married. It is pretty unbelievable. Working at the youth center and hanging with the buddies is all that I do. I am also reading the Newbery award winners and studying for the GRE. Tigers spring training games start Wednesday, which is also very exciting. I wish I could be there.

Well today is Kate's birthday and she's at work. She had the last two days off because of low numbers, so its unfortunate that she has to today. Her friends organized a little dinner party at Buca's tomorrow night so that should be fun. Yesterday I handed in my student teaching portfolio. I worked my ass off on it this past week and finished yesterday. Today I gave my presentation. Because of the snow storm, only a few people were there. It was great though, because it was the people who have helped me tremendously through the process. So today I signed my papers to work for the rest of the school year at East. I'm excited about it, yet tonight after meeting with the rest of the student teachers for the last time and hearing about their plans, I feel somewhat discontent. Well the bus just keeps rollin. I'm still workin on the unit and the days are windin down. A week from today is Thanksgiving and and I'll be at work. Its disapointing but ya know, life happens. Last weekend, Kate and I went to Milwaukee to see Bob and Christina. It was a good time like usual out there, and their new place is real nice. On the way there, we stopped at IKEA, where Kate got stuff to decorate the place. My last day was yesterday at Robinson. It went just like the others pretty much. I brought donuts and cider and we got to enjoy those treats. I also got my first set of racquets to demo, hopefully the weather tonight will allow me to try them.
