So my college canceled move in day and the first day of classes because of Hurricane Irene that's headed our way.
I'm really fucking scared man. I'm 100% convinced I'm going to die... Possibly because I'm a raging hypochondriac and have anxiety like no ones business but still...

sldkjsaldjlsjd I know, everyone is trying to calm me down but when you hear about New York city being evacuated, and the news saying leave New York I'm terrified. Plus, if there is ever a point where I would need to leave, I don't have a car, don't drive, and my mom will be at work, and I have 5 cats I'm looking after right now, three of them are little babies too... sooooo

Hunker down. By what I can see, I don't think it'll be too bad? I mean, it's not going to be a Cat 5 by the time it hits you, and really, you'll be able to handle anything less than a Cat3.

I think it's supposed to be a cat 3 here. New York City is supposed to get it bad, but hopefully my little area will be okay. Thanks for the encouragement <3

I'm also nervous about the Irene (I basically have to outrun the hurricane in order to go upstate to school tomorrow), but I'm sure everything will turn out okay. Just make sure that you're as prepared as possible and be careful. Wishing you the best. <3
