Fight Club was badass.

In 24 hours, I should be back in Lexington. I just read my entry made almost a year and a week ago on the brink of the beginning of my "Ratline experience." It feels so good to not be at the bottom anymore.

Now to finish packing.

Days like these make me think that life is beautiful. I'm sure I'll be over it by morning.

Does anyone have any idea how to differentiate between cowardice and good sense telling you to not do something?

There are words that I have left unspoken, and I don't know if its because I think I'm barking up the wrong tree or just because I'm a big chicken.

If only I could push things beyond plutonic. I don’t know what holds me back-the fear of rejection, or the fear of ruining a good thing.

In other news, I hate being a repulsive human being. Ah, days like these.

My, how I am a little ball of anger and self-loathing… at least when the good times end and I am all alone.

I just returned from a 5 day visit at McGuire AFB in New Jersey. It was a good time. I look forward more than ever to commissioning, though I now know more than ever that as an engineer, I will be more of an administrator than an engineer. Wow.

In cleaning my room/closet, I have hit veins of memories long forgotten. I really hated myself as a kid. Or whatever I should call that stage of life.

Still not sure how, but I have changed.

My need for human companionship has diminished (perhaps calluses of the heart?). I am starting to fill my void.

Maybe I'm just "growing up."
