When life ruins your computer, it's really doing you a favor! Matt's coworker built us a new one out parts he had laying around, and took our old junk, which he will somehow manage to make not junk and repeat the cycle... He also installed a trial copy of Windows 7. ...which is awesomesocks! -

Couch-dweller
I get a third roommate (well, housemate) for a couple weeks starting this Friday! It is going to feel like old times. The only one missing from this scenario is Tina. I've missed my Jason, so it will be awesome to have him around for a while. -

I've had a wonderfully productive day. I worked all morning, watched Cheri's (ridiculously adorable) baby for a bit while she had a lunch date with a friend, did laundry and cleaned house in general, took all my piggy bank change to the real bank, did some grocery shopping, ... ... and started looking into juried art shows. I start my day yesterday by dropping my phone in the toilet, proceeded to have an obnoxiously awful work day, then my mp3 player froze (did nothing except make a horrible noise and refuse turn off) somewhere in the middle of mile one out of seven. I have recently concluded I am dissatisfied with my job, shocking, I know. Anyhow, I took a twenty question career quiz thing. It told me I should be in career where I can travel abroad and appreciate artistic things. I would love that. Somebody find me THAT job, m'kay?! Thanks ( Read more... )
