Ok, evidently you can pay extra for actual fast Internet by the hour here at my hotel, so I spent some money and managed to get my Paris photos so far uploaded overnight ( Read more... )

Day 1 of Paris just finished, and I seem to have taken 340 photos. And the hotel's wireless is really slow and automatically cuts out after 4 hours. I'll see what I can do, but it *may* have to wait until I get back.

Jeff and I made it to Rome, just barely! First I almost lost my bag by taking the wrong luggage off the supershuttle, then my plane was delayed so I had to sprint through O'Hare (literally) to make my connecting flight with Jeff, and when we got to Madrid we were late again so had to move quickly through that airport to catch our flight to Rome.
