Well I've been working for 5 weeks now. Still training actually. I have 7 more weeks of it too. Which is fine with me I guess. Except I'm ready to get on 2nd shift so I don't have to get up at 5:30 in the morning. And the extra pay for being on 2nd shift would be nice too of course. Oh well, I'm satisfied. I FINALLY GOT A JOB!!! I'm going to be working at the University of Kentucky Hospital as a med tech in the blood bank. I don't know when I start working yet b/c I'm waiting on them to do my drug test and background check. So I've got to move into the apartment completely pretty soon. I'm excited. Ok, so I'm still jobless, but I am working on it. It's really frustrating and stressful. So I haven't been in the best mood. Not having a job is totally depressing. Especially around this time. I'm back in Kentucky. It's awesome and depressing all at the same time. There are so many things here that I missed, from people and church, to the cool air and fall colored trees. Soooo....it's been a while. I did get a wimpy summer job working at Target. They worked me about 30 hours a week, so the money was decent, but it was tiring and I didn't have time to do much of anything else. Soo, maybe Rapides doesn't want me as bad as I had thought. Apparently they want someone who has ASCP certification AND the LA State license. What was I thinking? They usually have room for someone like me, but not at the moment. Figures. So I'm stuck here doing nothing until I can take my certification exam again in May. I went to see Sigur Ros in Houston on Saturday....amazing. I can't even begin to explain how awesome it was.

I go to Rapides Regional tomorrow for my interview. They totally want me.

I woke up this morning, and the first thing I thought was...mm I love Sonny. It happens every day though.
