I have been without internet access since Saturday. I'm still without it; I'm currently using the computer lab at Triton.

Actually, it's not my internet access that's the problem. My computer is fucked up and I now have to buy a master copy of Windows XP to get it back to normal.

I want this month to end NOW!

This is a bit of a notice.

I did some cleaning in my user info, namely of friends and communitiies. The communities were just taking up space, and I either stopped commenting and lost interest in the people (no offense) or I just got sick and tired of the same ol' bullshit. I don't want any backlash, so I'm not saying who.

I'm done with one part of my job (replacing A/C air filters and drip-pans) and tomorrow I'm starting another (cleaning out the boilers in the sub-basement).

Also, "The Machinist" is a very good movie. It's bleak as all hell, but it's good.

And finally, I can't wait for this month to end.

Man, the homeless in this city... The other night, I was shopping for food at Jewel (a local supermarket) and a homeless guy approached me while I was looking at meat. I mean, kripes! Today, I finally learned when my last day of work is at the Hotel Allegro: December 31st.

I'm actually pleased with the news. I always knew my job was temporary; they told me so the day I was hired. I'm happy because I now know exactly how temporary. And my boss told me to call back after that date to see if they have an opening, to see if they'll ( Read more... )
