That's really too bad. Sounds like you guys need to drop your close buddies a text to head to Tahoe for a weekend. :P

Whenever you make a life changing decision that your parents can't understand, they'll treat you like you're a little kid again. Trust me, I'm 26 and still getting that treatment from my folks. (Which explains the lack of communication). I think it's partially just that they don't want their kids to live as hard of lives as they've sometimes lived. Granted, I don't know much about either you or Josh's folks, but I'm going to guess that in the end they likely mean well.

All of that aside, congratulations guys!

First I've heard of it, but then again I'm a bit of a recluse sometimes I suppose. Congratulations, both of you :D Give Josh a big hug for me and my congrats.
