Are they the sort of allergies that make your nose run, or the sort where you die?
I got told I was lactose intolerant at one point which had similar issues with milk and cheese and so on, but it turned out to in fact be incorrect, so don't automatically assume they are 100% right if cutting the foods out doesn't make you feel any better (also really really do take multivits with iron as when I cut out milk and most cheese for a month I just became horribly anaemic and couldn't breathe or move, which wasn't actually a great improvement on the tummyaches).
