I am trying out Google Plus.  I like the idea of facebook but I hate facebook.  I hate the layout, I hate how the security options are so hidden and I hate all the games.  So, I'm hoping I won't hate google as much.

May is when I have my yearly nervous breakdown.   I cannot wait until we retire and the children are out of the house so that I can spend the month abroad.  There's just too much junk in this month.

Plus, I'm sick.  bleh.

I had my very favorite people come down to visit over the weekend.  We went to the Strawberry Festival which more fun than I had expected it to be.  I had some delicious strawberry shortcake on a stick.  The outside was nicely deepfried and crunchy and the strawberry were still a little frozen.  Very refreshing and yummy.

President's Day has given me a very lovely three day weekend.  The only draw back is the lack of sleep.  I got to see my youngest eat some insects which was fun for me but not so much fun for him.  I also started watching Castle and Being Human.  I like them both.  I think I like Being Human better but...we'll see.  The weekend also brought the ( Read more... )

I am sad that I cannot find many Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place or Two Guys and a Girl clips on the net.  I love, love this show.  It and Sports Night are the only shows that I have been crushed when they were cancelled.  I looked on amazon to see if I could buy the dvds since netflix doesn't have them only to find that they are out of stock.   ( Read more... )

I haven't even left for my friend's house and I'm starting to get stuffy.  I think I'm healed enough to see the allergist.  That is definitely something I will do this year, along with finding a dentist.  I think my wisdom teeth need to come out.  Luckily I just have the two on top but they are pushing my teeth closer together.  We'll see.

My eye has been hurting near the scar.  If I press on the scar you can hear a squiggy-squiggy noise.  I see the doctor in February.  I hope it's just the weather.  Every night the eyelashes of that eye are white tipped.  I don't know what it is.  It's odd.  I also think the tube is slowly coming out.  I don't know.  Maybe I should call the doctor ( Read more... )

I found an extension for livejournal.  Scribefire is okay, unfortunately it doesn't have the little extras that I like like choosing my icon and my location or feeling or music.  Oh well.

I've been using Mederma on my new scar.  I'm going to see if it works.  I think it's looking better, but it could just be that I want it to and so it is.  Having grown up with scars on my face, this new one doesn't really bother me, ,especially since it's near my eye and my glasses kind of cover it up.  But I bought some Mederma anyway to try it.   ( Read more... )
