Cleaning the house only makes me wish I had less. The vehicle is falling apart. or at least burning antifreeze. The snow is wonderful to watch falling through the living room. You can see the whole street get silently and slowly covered. Nothing beats bad 80s hair metal ( Read more... )

a couple years ago, most of my friends were around the ages of 25-29. we'd hang out and play magic or some RTS games everyonce in a while. Some of them own a house over on Beacon Street. One of them is a senior sales rep, two of them are software engineers, and one of them is engaged and living with a girl going through law school.

The sales rep and law student could hold down conversations and were fairly upbeat and interesting to talk to. The software engineers...they made sick money, worked lots of hours, and had the absolute worst speech skills. Long work hours and sitting in front of a computer had pretty much eliminated their need for skillfully talking to people.

I've been feeling the same way for a while now, i.e. feeling less fun, feeling like i can't speak correctly. for me, i've found out that reading books and getting some decent sleep will definitely keep me from going through social/mental apathy.

Since I started at Analog, I've read more meaningful books than my entire high school career. I starting to think that my decline in social skills is attributed to no one to talk to during break. I've gotten to a point where I really dislike everyone at the job(sans you, jeff, and kathy).

Perhaps a really good time out would work.

I fucking love that cartoon. I was in hysterics watching it.

I'm thinking of writing more. But I'm too clumsy with words to really have anything meaningful to say. miss you
