I've had an iPhone for a week or so and am embracing iPhone photography. I expect the novelty will wear off, but for now I like it a lot. A few out of the hundreds I've taken lately. Our world is beautiful and there is much pleasure to be had in the details, the small things. Most of these were taken within a mile of my house. Right now this

Thank you! Most of them are using the Hipstamatic app, and some are the Instagram app. Next I will be trying 'Grungetastic' which has lots of textures. It's so fun .. try it! I walk along the road now glued to my tiny screen! it sure makes waling around more interesting.
I'm doing a piece for an exhibition next month of 72 of these printed out and stuck on squares of card and joined together using jeweller's split rings to make a very large .. piece of wall art.

Oh absolutely! I hardly used my iPhone for its phone dialling features when I had one. It was like having a digicam, iPod and tablet computer all rolled into one, a dream combo because now I have to carry each of those items separately. It was easier having to look after one expensive gadget rather than three! Or even two.

I never used filter apps enough when I had my iPhone but after seeing the results of these pictures I'll definitely have to push it up in the queue of things to catch up on when I get the new one. Hopefully they'll release it soon.
