Season of fire and light
We're still having fireworks round here, even though in the old days it used to be only November 5th or the Saturday nearest to it. Anyway, 2 weeks of fireworks is okay by me.
We've been playing with painting with light. It took 4 people all doing different things to make this picture! More of this series soon on my other blog.

Caregiver or caretaker?
I might become a dormant account if I don't post something occasionally, so here's a post on a subject that interests me. I think it's relevant at any age, whether you're talking about children, teenagers or adults. It makes quite tough reading and it certainly made me think about myself and my own actions and motivations, now and in the past.

How can it be April already?
The Spring weather continues to be lovely, and it's good to have light evenings. After completing some work today, I'd had enough of sitting at the computer for the last few days and decided it was time to get out, so I called a friend and asked if he was going out walking today. I usually write something at the year end, and this year is no exception.
The first photo of the year, was this one of Big Ben and the fabulous fireworks in London on the stoke of midnight. Wish I'd been there as the atmosphere is tremendous, but a shot of the TV screen had to suffice.

A year in pictures
I've been making quite a lot of video for college projects lately (mostly quite bad), and I'm really starting to enjoy it now that I find editing less laborious and I understand how the software works.
