[The first mistake was going out without her Pokemon.

She rationalized it by reminding herself that she was walking for relaxation, to take her mind off the all the annoying things that came along with going out in public semi-regularly. But that didn't excuse her from not taking along at least a Pokeball, even Mankey's just to send for help.
