Dorm Life: Refrigeration
Our dorm room's fridge is so weird. For kicks and giggles, it froze all my vegetables. Have you any idea how strange it is to cut up an onionscicle for stir-fry? No, I bet you don't. So we turned the temperature up slightly to save our produce. Now, just to give us all the finger for trying to stop it, it has frozen my refried beans. Solid.

Theories On/Inspired By Supernatural 5.01
Yeah, yeah, late to the game, I know. I've had a long, hard week since I saw the season premier, but I thought it'd be best to get this in for the record before the next episode came out. So here you are, have a taste of my thoughts, sleepy and halfway-edited.

I now have a new favorite classical piece: The Agnus Dei (fifth movement, I think) from Poulenc's 'Mass in G'.
It's a great example of serendipity. I was looking for a good recording of Rachmaninoff's 'Vespers' (or, more accurately translated, 'All-Night Vigil'), largely because I had just re-watched the scene in Supernatural where Castiel comes in ( Read more... ) -

I woke up today and went to my classes as usual, thinking vaguely to myself that it was oddly overcast today, considering that I now go to college in a tiny town way up in the middle of the rocky mountains. Oh, horror!
The new season 5 trailer for Supernatural is out, and the song. I swear, I like to died. I think I blacked out from sheer pleasure the first couple times I watched it. The song is chilling, and the trailer is so well done. It meshes perfectly with the song, every beat of the way.

Wheeee, icons make me happy. I could spend all my time getting new icons, if I had enough space for them. <3 Now all I have to do is find out which ones I really want to use, and which ones I just like.
