I know it's been HELLA long since I actually updated this thing. But I'm sitting here in the Maun airport and I realized that there's a few thoughts I want to get down before I forget them and I can type a HECK of a lot faster than hand-write! So here goes

First: good use of "hella". I'm glad to see that Ray has been improving your vocabulary too.

Second: I am glad you are having an awesome time. While the weather thing isn't my deal, the wildlife sounds pretty sweet. Have you actually seen a mongoose? Are they as ridiculous as I think they are?

Much as I would love to come visit, I don't think the cheap booze will quite offset the cost of travel...and I doubt Alastair will spring any money for me. Next time, maybe.

Anywhoo, continue to enjoy...I will keep the house standing until your return. At which point, we will knock it down with raucous celebration and epic Smashing.

I'm glad you're having a great time in Botswana! I'd love to visit southern Africa at some point, especially to see the wildlife.
