so i moved to a farm in virginia. this is only day two, so i'm not sure how i like it. manual labor is painful. yesterday kicked my ass. lots of repetitive picking of vegetables. lots of sun and subsequent heat. i hope my body adjusts quickly.

death vacation
So my boss finally admitted she's cutting my hours not solely out of some concern for my mental health but also in order to keep me here longer. that's not cool. i was hoping to leave by september, but i no longer think that will happen. not if i adhere to her schedule anyway. though last week was the first she 'enforced' my thirty hour a week ( Read more... ) -

jesus i'm spending too much time alone. i like solitary time, but this is getting a bit silly. and i'm not working very much, less than eight hours a day, so i'm back to spending the entire evening not talking to anyone. other than kyle, the five year old next door. shiiit.

i went to ohio last weekend. it was martin's birthday.
it was pretty normal i guess. i didn't really do anything. i went down to see chinchi. she's well, chinchi. i'm not quite sure why i maintain friendships like that one. i think it's mostly cause i like the idea of staying in touch with people. it's nice.

in the last seven days i worked 83 hours. that's a lot. i came home crying more than once. overall i did pretty well though. i didn't show too much frustration despite the stress and the annoying-ness of the boys. i had some pretty great moments as well. really connecting with them. i'm gonna take it easy for a couple weeks...

a little somebody
