This one sat around in my head for days (since last Wednesday) - I couldn't entirely figure out what I wanted to say.
Glad you're taking a jazz (history?) course :D I hope you enjoy it. If you can, try to catch a live performance somewhere.

It's called "Survey of Jazz." It involves a lot of jazz history as well as a focus on composition and styles. Though I'm not sure how I'll do on the tests, I'm already enjoying it, and I'll definitely be catching a few performances throughout the semester!
