Vash didn't really know what he could do. he had spent the last few days helping Hiyori find Detective Ukitake. His mind was set on that, and being moved to help Sergeant Kusanagi head the bombing case had completely thrown him off guard. Now he had to concentrate on finding a whole other bunch of people.

The detective was just on his way out of the AMC, coffee and a donut in hand when he spotted the woman. She didn't look like she was from the AMC (Vash knew all the beautiful women in the AMC). She looked familiar too. Maybe the face of that woman in the files that he had been handed concerning the bombings? He would go for it.

Vash walked up to the woman with a large smile on his face. "Is there something I can help you with, Ma'am?" he asked, politely. It wasn't often that they had people walking into the AMC headquarters in a town like this, but it did happen ever so often, and Vash had gotten somewhat used to the drill.

Kaede offered a half smile in return, hesitating only slightly as she glanced around the office and back to the man who greeted her, debating how she wanted to play her cards.

Her girlish face probably didn't fit the profile of a heartless bomber but that wasn't going to help her when the AMC no doubt already had her name on file.

"My mame is Kaede D'acero," she said, cutting right to the chase, "I heard there was someone here who might want to see me.:

Vash momentarily did not care that she was probably a bomber. She was nice to look at. Under different circumstances, he would have liked to try and ask her out. Oh well. The world was cruel sometimes. Such beauties! Such awful crimes! Not fair at all. He sighed.

"Kaede, you say?" How lucky could he get? One of the bombers that he and Hiyori were after. This was good. "Well, you came to the right place. I happen to be one of those people who would like to speak to you. I'm Vash." He smiled at her. There was no use in being mean. She had been nice enough to turn herself in. Vash was a believer that she probably had a good heart.

"Why don't we go sit down and talk?" he asked, gesturing his hand in the direction of the interrogation rooms. "Would you like anything to drink first?"

Kaede gave a small sigh, grateful that at least for the moment she wasn't being met with hostility, though still a little leery. Good cop/bad cop maybe? She couldn't say she was looking forward to meeting the 'bad cop' but there was no reason to bite off trouble.

She was about to ask if they had any tea but thought better of it--the nature of her target and the old man's subsequent disappearance still fresh in her mind. "Water is fine, thanks," she said, inclinig her head slightly.
