So it's been nearly three and a half years since I last posted.  A lot's happened since then.

I fell in love with a girl, had a great relationship for the better part of three years, and we ended it.  I had a full-time job for nearly two years before being asked to leave.  So here I am now, older, wiser, slightly more-mellow and less-emo, but again

Sweetheart. You are young, you have all the time in the world to find love again. You ARE a great person, and all the things you listed are true, you will find someone who values you for them. :)

As for your relationship seeming like a distant dream...I totally understand. I think that's what happens when a time when you were really happy ends abruptly, I had that happen recently too. *hugs* Hang in there.

I know this isn't true, but I it's the way I feel from time to time. It's at least partly irrational.

Also, there are state ROCK songs? I had never heard of this sort of thing before (although I'm familiar with this song).
