So, I hate my job. With enthusiasm. It has all of the bullshit of my last job but with less pay. Obviously I'm still looking for work. I'm remarkably optimistic though; I'm absolutely sure something perfect will come along soon and so I'm determined not to settle for anything less than what I want. Meaning I'll be quitting the moment this job

Skiers and snowboarders are just about the only people I know who truly devote themselves to the thing they love.

Seriously? I think I know lots of other people who devote themselves to (other) things that they love. But maybe I'm just not reading this sentence right.

When I say that I'm talking about people I know personally. But yeah, the only people I know who come close are parents and the folks I know who both ski/snowboard and have kids can't wait to get their kids on the snow.

That's not to say that everyone who skis is as passionate about it is my buddies and I, but it seems like it becomes a near obsession pretty easily.
