I recently learned that both my sister and cousin have type 2 diabetes. Two healthy eating, frequent exercising people. Unlike myself. The eat whatever, exercise never.

I haven't built up the nerve to go see a doctor yet. I fear the 'die' with a 't'.

I have been traveling on business a lot. I am tired of hotel rooms and even more tired of airplane seating. It makes me sad walking back to coach past all those lovely wide 1st class seats. Alas, the company is not willing to spring for 1st class seats.

I have complained before about how expensive it can be to binge on a regular basis. My finances have improves somewhat here lately, and I have been able to step out a bit, meal wise. More business travel this week. I'm going to New Jersey this time. I hope I will have time to sneak across the river and sample the culinary delights of NYC. I have been binging a bit more than normal to up my capacity.

Had an Office Space moment yesterday morning. Just enough things went just enough wrong. I had to get out. So I told the boss I was going out to get "lab supplies" and got the hell out of there for about an hour. I did not go to the local theme diner and hit on Jennifer Aniston (eww).
