"i talk more about poop than anything else, but seriously, even if it sounds cheesy, i really think that this was my whole purpose in life. does every new mom feel that way?" i did. and most new moms do. not all, but most. and you can never imagine doing anything better in life than being a mom.
"why doesn't anyone ever tell you the outright truth about what happens to a woman's body the first week postpartum? answer: because if you knew, you probably wouldn't want to have babies." so true. no one would. well, maybe. because it's all worth it when you're holding that little pumpkin in your arms.
i agree, carissa, it is definitely worth it. but still, i can't believe how gross things were at some points, oh my god. NOT something to talk about in public, or with strangers, or on livejournal. i mentioned i felt like a science experiment, but now that i think about it, it was kinda like fear factor, too.
haha, we should start up some mommy-to-be classes that tell them what they REALLY need to prepare themselves for....! there were quite a few pretty important things that were left out!
yeah, i'm thinking about writing a book or something. but i made a promise to myself that if any expectant mother asks me what it's like to have a baby, i am not going to hold back - they WILL get all the gory details, they deserve it.
