did everyone celebrate corduroy day today? (saturday)  i did! 
according to npr, every year on 11/11 is corduroy day because it's the day that most resembles corduroy.

oh and everyone needs to go to kroger and buy atleast one lychee to try.  they're in the produce section against the wall somewhere.  they are soooo good!  a little scary, but

it is considered a nut, but i don't eat the nut inside, and i don't know if you're even supposed to.
there is fruit around the nut to eat that tastes somewhat like a non-sour, non-sweet grape. but first you have to open it, that's the tricky part. well, not so much tricky, but scary. because you have to touch it. you just make a small cut in the skin, then break apart, or twist.
i've only ever eaten them in Costa Rica, so when i found them in Kroger i got reaally excited!
you neeeed to try one!

No, I would never wear corduroy on Armistice Day. I wore woven cotton.
