I got the most awesome job ever!  I'm a receptionist at Lone Star Music Academy.  The people are actually really cool.  I know several of the teachers, and the full-time receptionist is this really awesome lady (and I absolutely love her 10 year old son!  He even made a Wii person for me!)  Anyway, the starting pay is $10/hour, and it'll go up to $ ( Read more... )

i tried to open my car door to get something out, but there is a fairly thick layer of SOLID ICE gluing all doors and the trunk shut. 
in conclusion, i am snowed in my apartment, ice style.  good thing i made a huuuge pot of chili yesterday, so i won't go hungry.  oh and if your car isn't glued shut as mine is, come over!  because i can't go

I just baked ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-TWO chocolate chip cookies.  There probably should have been like 5 or so more, but someone who shall remain nameless may or may not have eaten lots of the cookie dough.  I also ate like 3 cookies after they were baked. 
All I'm trying to say is, I'm all cookied out. 

did everyone celebrate corduroy day today? (saturday)  i did! 
according to npr, every year on 11/11 is corduroy day because it's the day that most resembles corduroy.

oh and everyone needs to go to kroger and buy atleast one lychee to try.  they're in the produce section against the wall somewhere.  they are soooo good!  a little scary, but
