Why do I so often write stuff down here only to delete it? I wanted to say to heather and rob that I'm sorry you are/were feeling down and wish there was something I could do or say to make it better. But then I don't even say those things because I feel like my words don't really mean much unless I have some action behind them.. like a phone ( Read more... )

Thanks. :- )

I thought my camera was broken and it was just that these crappy rechargable batteries I expected to last forever were dead.

if you really end up liking the raw way a dehydrator is essential. i loved the raw stuff i tried but i was always saying i needed to get a dehydrator before i could really get into it. it's expensive to start up but i would love to try it again. it's a yummeh yummeh way

yeah, I'm worried about that. so far I've heard you can use your oven if it's on the lowest setting to kinda dry out your food rather than cook it.

do you have any raw food tips or great websites or books you could suggest to me? It does look super yummy. I can't wait! I think I'm going to try to make a butternut squash soup with macadamia nut cream to garnish for dinner tonight!

I totally support your idea for going more toward a raw diet! One of my coworkers got me started on it, and while I haven't been able to go completely raw (time and money constraints) I definitely think it's worth incorporating a lot of the ideas into your diet. I've gone about 50/50 raw now, and I can tell the difference in how I feel on a daily basis. I've got a couple books at home I'd recommend. I'll be back home around Dec 4th and could let you know what they are then. :)

And, I'll be in NYC next week! Nov 30-Dec 4 - I know it's quite a distance from where you are, but if you think you'll be there then, let me know. There's a raw food restaurant there that I intend on going to check out.

aww, I wish I could meet you up in NYC but there's no way. what raw restaurant are you going to? let me know how it is and what it's called and maybe the next time tim and I go we'll check it out.

So, other than just feeling better.. what changes have you noticed in yourself since you've tried the raw stuff? any physical improvements? any weight loss? more energy?

have a great time in NYC and I hope to see you in lake jackson! we'll be there from the 21st through the 28th.
