NYC TRIP

last weekend I hitched a ride with a pyramid schemeing co worker and her husband to NYC to hang out and meet dream_a_highway in person finally. I had a great time in NYC with her and here are some photos from that trip

nope, I grew up on the jersey shore. i still live in jersey. jersey city, the 6th borough. It's actually closer to lower manhattan (were all the fun stuff is) than most of manhattan. but i get to be closer to my family, my job, and on the main land.

I loved having you over. I have a guest again this weekend! but he's a jersey shore boy too and we're going to go the sidewalk cafe... do you remember that. It wasn't far from the "meals on wheels" or whatever that was at tompkins square park in the east village. My friend Joseph is performing! :)

I want to say that your camera is amazing...everything looks real. you have a very good eye. but i can't look that cute in real life? can you send me the full size pic? (*blush*).

so we did west village/greenwich village - kinda interchangeable. soho, lower east side (teany & babeland), east village, union square, and um, did you forget all about midtown and times square? yeah, i usually do too. :P you'd do fine this city love. next time... i'll show you some of brooklyn or jc and you'll see manhattan is just were you can't live... not nyc.

I wanna move to brooklyn. I do. eventually. i work in newark... so the commute would be tougher, but the commute home from the parties is even worse (trains)... but i have a few couches i crash on from time to time in williamsburg, greenpoint, and park slope.

I'm such a slacker when it comes to posting pictures. I'll take like 500 and then only post maybe 5.. so there were some more of us there at pure food and wine but they are still on the camera and tim took it with him to germany today!

I think I do remember sidewalk cafe, have a great time! and yeah, once you see times square it's not really all that dazzling anymore (besides the lush shop). BTW, did that lush boy contact you? oh, and guess what? my friends who dropped me off at your place? Yeah, they're like totally separated now and probably on the way to divorcetown USA! what a weekend!
